Well this might work for me since I was going to tell everyone sorry I can't make it since I broke the transmission yesterday. I think I bent/broke the 1-2 shift fork.

I did manage to go 9.72@142 1.28 60'

I love that you are a go getter and gets things fixed for another day of racing. I hope to see that banger out next Sunday.

I'm gonna try but not guaranteeing anything. Little more/different damage than expected when I got it torn apart. Shift fork wasn't bent or broken but the pads were gone and in the bottom of the case. Third gear syncro was completely worn and second was well on its way. Then the kicker I broke teeth off the end of the counter shaft.

Out and on the ground in 2.5 Hours

come one ,come all hope to see everyone on Sunday, n thank you for all being understanding about us cancelling Sunday. It was a tuff call but Larry and I waited as long as poss. and even the track called to mention that they showed an 60-80 percent chance of weather an, we didn't want anyone to waste there time n money to sit n the rain. With an extra week, it will give some racers time to get stuff back together n ready to go. An also when racers come to the gate, they need to tell the gate person that there here for the Chuck Corso tribute and they will give u a number n r lanes n a tribute sticker for ur car n tow vehicle Ty Tim

Glad to hear you rescheduled it since I couldn't make it last week and wanted to come out for a great cause. I'll be there Sunday with one or two other "regulars".

Bump!

well it looks to be a nice weekend though a bit windy on Sunday.

The forecast shows 59-61 degree's and South winds 10-20 mph w/ 30 mph gusts, but this should be a tail wind and might be worth a few new bests for those trying to sneak that little bit out. LOL

We hope to see a bunch of people out for a good cause.

I believe southerly winds are headwinds at Byron Larry.

Weather should still be conducive to running some good times though. See ya Sunday.

Is this memorial race for Chuck going to be bracket racing or just T&T? Thanks.

It's just a Test n Tune. But if some folks wanted to do some bracket racing that'd be fun also.

We had a decent turn out and would like to thank everyone who attended as well as Byron Dragway for their support.

.

Is there a paypal account or anything set up??

The little girl looking for donations came up as I was walking in to pee, and I was in my fire suit.
I told her to stop by the trailer we don't care money in a fire suit and she never did so I didn't make a donation.

That was probably the 50/50 raffle tickets. The donation was with the entry fee if you noted you were there for the Chuck Corso Tribute Race.

talk to Turbo Family if you would like to donate anything to the cause

I did get a pass of your car on video later in the day. 1.07 60ft is killer

thanks for coming out
