CSS Street Car Challenge & TnT - August 19th, 12pm - 4pm

That's right! ...coming back to you for the fourth year is the CSS STREET CAR CHALLENGE!!

CSS has rented out Cordova Dragway for this event, but it is also an open test n' tune fun day.

Cost to get in: $40 per car... $5 per spectator.

RULES FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE CSS STREET CAR CHALLENGE!!!

Meet at the Kickapoo exit gas station (Shell) at 9:00am.

We will leave there to head to the track at 10:00am.

Your car will be numbered with shoe polish to keep track of who is who.

You must drive to Cordova Dragway from the Kickapoo exit to qualify for the challenge.

YOU MUST RACE ON THE TIRES YOU DROVE TO THE TRACK WITH
...any other changes are allowed, once you arrive at dragstrip...

Gates open at 11:00am.

Make as many passes as you like. We will end the challenge at 2:30pm, which is when everyone will hand in their fastest time slip that matches the number on their car.

Your vehicle must be able to make the trip back home to win. It does not have to be driven home, but must be capable. If deemed necessary, three laps around the pits will be requested to prove so.

The winner gets the belt for an entire year and is awarded the title BADDEST street car in Central IL.

This was a big event last year for being the third year and we expect it to be even better competition this year.

You do not have to participate in the challenge to come out and make test and tune hits or do some grudge racing.

This is an open track day that everyone is invited to that we are just going to do the CSS Challenge on as well.
