Anybody on the forum going up to Brainerd MN on the 21st-23rd?? MAP is holding a event I've been to it twice and this year they are allowing fuel injected domestics to race! Would be cool to meet some other forum members in person!
MAP Import & Sport Compact Weekend
June 21-23; Sept 6-8
Drag Racing
Brainerd International Raceway will be buzzing with activity two weekends in 2013 with Modern Automotive Performance Sport Compact Proving Grounds showcases drag racing, drifting and autocross competitions, open lapping on the Competition Road Course, a car show and a lot more. This year's event will take place over three days instead of two and should attract about 200 cars and bikes. The Proving Grounds features a wide variety of front-wheel, rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive cars, some of which are turbo charged and can cover the quarter mile in 8-9 seconds. Import bikes will have their own classes on the drag strip as well.

Here is a video of last years event was a blast, camping out chilling with awesome people and drifitng/road coarse/quarter mile racing what's better? I'll be there from Friday until Sunday and rolling with my buddy who has a 240sx with a fully built RB26 putting 500+rwhp and another friend with a Honda Civic hatch putting 740whp down! Yes 740 lol should be fun time!

Yeah, I don't get why they don't do the whole 3.1 mile track. It would be much more fun for the big HP cars. I agree, there's a lot of smack talking which gets pretty annoying pretty quick.
