Default Northeast Kansas Transmission Shop Recommendations

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm located in Junction City, Kansas and going to need a partial if not complete rebuild on a 01 Trans Am WS6 4l60E soon. I'm looking for recommendations on a good shop that is priced right and knows what the hell they are doing. I can go as far west as Salina and as far east as Kansas City if absolutely needed. Who knows a shop that knows what they are doing in Northeast Kansas?

Any mods done to the car? When my trans broke, I sent it to FLT. The turn around was really fast.

Yes. Car has 243 heads with upgraded valve train, rods, lifters. Running a TSP 224R cam with 113 LSA, LT headers with TSP rumbler cat back. Only thing I haven't touched at all yet is the tranny back. I might have a band slipping in my overdrive gear so I plan to put in a 3000-3200 Stall converter in it with a shift kit and basic rebuild. It is a street car that has never seen the 1/4 mile track. Only comes out on nice days and runs down bikes and vettes on the highway here and there.

My problem is I've seen the quality of people and workmanship in the town I live in and don't trust most of them to mess with the car. I need a known shop with experienced technicians that care, not your every day trailer trash grease monkey that thinks changing a tire makes you a mechanic.

Do you have the ability to pull trans yourself or are you wanting to drop off and pick it up when its done? You could contact MC Racing or The tuning station up here in KC. Idk if they rebuild trans but Im sure they could direct you to someone good.
