I recently bought a 98 Trans Am, and the guy I bought it from changed the gears back to stock (3.23). I need to get the computer retuned so the speedometer is correct. There are multiple mods to the trans (shift kit), and I'm guessing a new torque converter, and the engine. Can the car be retuned to just change the rear end gear ratio without flashing the whole computer? Is there a shop close by, or someone in the forum near the Bloomington, IL area that can retune the computer (compensation provided). Just wanted to see my options as a shop in town wants 200 dollars just to change the gear ratio.
