yeah i called at Jones Auto in orleans and they said they had two gto's, but one was rear ended and the other had an aftermarket bumper on it... and i also looked at beard's in vincennes and they didnt have one surprisingly

You guys could come down for a Day at the Strip in Lawrenceville this weekend, I'm finally going to autocross my own car 
It's at the Mid American Air Center, about an hour from Jasper; autocross, cruise-in on Saturday; Show, quarter mile passes on the airstrip on sunday

Yeah I heard about that. I might end up coming on sunday. You going to be there sunday? I don't have the right tires for autocross or I would come then. I might end up going to bowling green for mustang night at the track saturday.

I'm off Saturdays and Sundays, but not really worth traveling down there for. So probably won't see me. Plus my car is still dead. Gas realllllly expensive in my life atm.

well guys it looks like i wont be getting an f-body after all... i got approved for either a 2008-2009 G8 GT

Now that you are approved, the ball is in your court. You can talk them down to dirt now. Just keep walking out if they don't meet your price. Negotiate the price of the car, not the payment. Be nice and friendly and you will get what you want.

I dont want a stick though, since i might let the wife drive it lol. The only biggest downside is the supercharger and exhaust by EPP, (which is a must) will void the warrenty wont it?

at my new job i make around 1,300-1,600 a week but i dont really want to wreck my new warrenty so ill just have to be happy with an exhaust for now till i can afford a real "toy" i can abuse lol. ill take it for another drive tomorrow and see if it really does it for me or not. 6 years married to a car on payments is going to suck... again

On a side note, my car did great at the autocross. Impressed the heck outta me!
It looks a lot slower than it felt, lol! A lot longer course than I was used to, as well. here's a vid:

the dealer let me take the G8 for another spin. i was gone for about 1 and a half hours and he didnt ask for ID or anything, just gave me the keys? well anyway after thoughly taking it the little stuff got to me. like the center part of the dash that reads battery volts and oil pressure with lame bars and no dial. it honestly is just too "refined" for my taste. i think im going to wait for the camaro before i spend 30,000+ on a car. thats alot for something that doesnt do it all for you, like raw power for example, no exhaust note whatsoever
