Nah I just went Saturday. Too much to do on the farm to play both days, lol. But I looked at the strip when I was there, didn't look bad to me. They wouldn't let us run the strip Saturday because "the insurance is only good for Sunday"...
I owned a dirt race track in Kentucky (god 5 yrs ago now), and our insurance was PRIMARILY for Fridays. However, if a rain out or something of that matter happened, we could call them and they would allow a Saturday (due to rain out). When we had a Friday and Saturday night race we had to pay more for that extra day. And insurance is not cheap.
Amber, I watched the video of your car, was that you driving? There is no way in hell I could drive between cones, I would be runnin **** over in my T/A... Luckily for me I can only go 20-30mph right now. I'm working 2 jobs, so as soon as I get a nice chunk of debt taken care of I hope to get to my car... But sadly I don't think it'll happen until late this yr, early next year. Which is VERY bad considering its already set 5 months... I don't want it to sit a yr. But **** happens.
Hey here's a couple of vids we did on you tube with the cars\

Anyone know of a good shop that does tires inexpensive and highspeed balancing? I'm tired of bouncing @70/80 on 65N. This is for my cavalier btw. Thanks! Now to just remember to check this thread...
I have had my wheels balanced at a local shop down here in Princeton. I don't think that is close to you but I have taken the car to 160mph many times and it was smooth as silk.
Well vincennes 6th street use to be pretty good back in the day. Not sure about now but it use to be. I usually go cruzing on the weekends or just hang out and drink beer. Your more than welcome to come down and hang out here in princeton.
hey everyone, my car is for sale. So if you know of anyone looking for a cheap strong running lt1 there is a link in my sig. I ship off for the military in a few weeks and I don't have anywhere to keep it, and I have bills to pay before I go.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Did they use the weights that go along the outside, or the new type that goes in the middle/offset?
new to crane, indiana (navy guy stationed at NSA Crane) Looking for shops to get some things installed...cams, headers, tuning. Looked online and only saw a shop in bloomington which had some horror stories from other members. Any other shops would be really helpful. Right now I am tiight on Mullah so I especially need a good muffler shop to install my cutouts. Thanks
For other work, Mark Sims in the Campbelltown/Winslow area is a competent guy, he works at Jasper Engines during the day and has a nice side business/garage after hours. He's done work for me, good work and reasonably priced, and knows what he's talking about. Think he's in the phone book under Sims Auto Repair or something like that. I drive by his shop every night, can get his number for you if you wish.

Yeah! It looks slower than it was, lol. The cones were pretty easy once I got my shocks dialed in so she didn't get so loose halfway through. It was this one d#mned tight chicayne that threw me almost every time.
