Sorry man been busy. It's either too late when I think about it or it's to early. I think all I am going to sell now is my transmission. I guess I am going to go ahead and get the car running and put a TH400 in it. This has kinda been a last minute decision which may change again once I get into seeing how expensive this tranny swap is going to be.

So you going back together with the new engine, incon and th400? I still have some interest in the old engine block LMK.

I'm sure it will gets tons of use by others than myself, shops even had the occasional F**D brand in it.
At this point I think it's more of a WHEN I get it installed then if. Found the same lift on Ebay for $1745 from the same place calling to sort some shipping/tax details this week. Like to have my own TA running under the new engine/turbos before years end. Been too long since i've felt/heard the thing spool or the BOV. Was not planning on taking the other turbo setup off at the time and the deal just happened and my car got neutered prematurely. Engine and new turbo setup were both winter arrivals and it was just to cold to want mess with it(I do have gas furnace and AC in the shop).
Sorting and performing the logistics of the lift setup now, shutting the cable off next month so less distractions. Brought in tall metal shelves and lined one wall inside the shops office to help get better organized the last weekend and more room around the solvent tank. Old blasting cabinet gone now gotta setup the new blasting cabinet, but making major progress. I normally do about 2 or 3 times the shop work in sept-Dec than all spring and summer, like to enjoy my toys more then I guess. Donor oil pan came in thrusday, last major piece I needed for the engine so time to order that K-Member and make my new fuel system choices.
TBH Mike I'm glad you decided to leave it together, us turbo LSX TA's gotta represent.
Saw a complete th400 trans setup on the FS forum for $1600 today...

Saw a complete th400 trans setup on the FS forum for $1600 today... Ya I wish I had 1600!!! That's what the hold up is!! I am hoping to have it all good to go by spring next year. Keep letting me know of any sales of TH400's cuz you never know when I might get lucky and come into some money LOL
Think I saw an th400 for M6 trade somewhere in there as well. You know their are so many guys looking to trade one for the other you could list your stuff and see what bites. You never gave me a price on the trans? What about the old engine block, LMK things are moving faster to coming together every day here.

I got a TCI th350 and stall, but the stall is a 3800 and for a regular SBC or LT1 not LS1, no brake ofc. Champ converter in evansville does pimp work last i was there and would probably convert it to LS1 and maybe restall for not much, they built several converters for me and work is beyond reproach and reasonable. Even noticed in some of the foremost trans-shops online they use champ, most regular shops wont cause you pay for excellence over some junk reman. If I would have seperated the converter from trans it would have already been gone but I was trying to sell together. Peeps always want 3k or lower and 3800 makes them nervous I guess. Takes a longer driveshaft and welding about a 3" extension to the trans mount to actually make the trans fit, not much work and their fairly light.
