If you guys remember about my friend who had a 02 gt, well he traded it and got Formula with a WS6 hood. Looks very nice but seems really raspy! I like the SS sound so much better.

Alright, the car is finally back together. It sounds alright i guess, a little raspy. Every time i get on it it hits somewhere. I need to fab up a bracket so that the y-pipe under the driver side floor board doesn't hit there. That looks like the only place that its hitting. I'm hoping once i get that settled it will sound a little better.

 

No but I'll keep an eye out. Any particular brand?

 

That's why I always get a catted y pipe. I hate rasp. Just feel lucky you have a magnaflow exhaust cuz most others sound 10 times worse!

 

yeah i have never been in a camaro with long tube headers so i didnt really know what to expect. Apparently the noise that i thought was the y-pipe hitting, was actually just rasp lol.

 

Well it's still very possible that the exhaust is hitting. If you have access to a lift put it up in the air while it's running and find where it's hitting at.

 

i'll have to wait till summer classes start, we have a dynojet dyno at Ivy Tech so i can put it up on the rollers and crawl underneath it while its running and see

 

Mike didn't you say you were going to part out a ws6 or something? Because I got a friend that might be getting a z28 and he was wanting to buy an exhaust.. Since the Z he's looking at has a glasspack exhaust on it?
