Yea I usually show up at sonic at night usually 7-9 then sit and talk awhile to " random stangers" or if I see a car that's cool I'll go check it out. Just watever comes around

I think it was 10pm-ish. Cops were watching like hawks, lol! It's our new shop toy and I stole it Friday to get a feel for it before I took it to Lawrenceville, decided to cruise to Princeton. And now I think I'm in love... That thing drives like it's on rails. The T/A's still staying, though,

Black C6 is by far one of the most menacing looking cars on the road.

 

I agree 100%! Hard as hell to keep clean though. A C6 Z06 is my next car! They are actually affordable right now!

I do want a C6 Z06 as well but I might have to wait another year or two to get one. However, Ill take a 08 and up C6 as well.

 

Ya I figure if I'm gonna spend the cash just go ahead and get the Z! Best bang for the buck out there. I wonder how bad insurance is?!

 

It was cheaper than the Formula for me. Apparently not many 25 y/o guys driving them around and totaling them out.

 

LOL figures. That freaking 94 with liability is expensive and I have a clean record and I'm 31yrs old!

 

Mine is $350 full coverage every 6 months so its not that bad at all.

I got a quote for $275 from USAA and Nationwide got it at $289 I think.

I might be able to come thru Friday night...I'm going to have the car again on Saturday for a local car show and if I get it Friday afternoon instead of Saturday morning, we could have an impromptu SIFYBC meeting, lol! Speaking of which, there's a nice little car show here in Winslow on Saturday, entry is a free-will donation benefitting a couple of kids' charities, I'll be there with the Vette and at least one other Ridetech car, bring your cars and come keep me company! About a half-hour drive from E'ville and Princeton.

Ditto on the keeping black cars clean thing. They show EVERYTHING. And those insurance numbers are great! Lots lower than I expected.

Bungle, we haven't done anything to it yet except some bodywork; we bought it for a good price and the original plan was to re-sell, but I've already informed the boss that it is now NOT FOR SALE, . ((I'm trying to convince him it would be either a) a great test platform, or b) a great comparison platform for some of the high-end stuff we're working on.)) As a matter of fact we just ordered new business cards yesterday and he put my job title down as "Shock Diva and Corvette Coveter", lol! I'm hoping to steal it the next weekend too for another autocross.
