What do you mean? What's past where it needs to be? Did he fix the bolt or not?

Like he said it broke at the top 1/4th. My grandpa was saying something about drilling through the head to fix that bolt? How did you say it can be done again?

They usually drill a hole down the center of the bolt and then use what I believe is called an easy out to get it out. A heli coil is for if the threads get messed up.

It's not too serious... Just gettin room to get it out is the chore.. Like mike said, drill through the middle of the bolt, I believe an easy out is almost like a reverse drill bit, and once u screw it in, u turn it out by HAND!, and that should be it. Then install the new header bolt. If your not capable then have a shop do it so they can cover the mistake of a f'ed up head, if one occures.

And actually this is a very common occurence in mechanics.. Bolts break like this on any application, on any part, everyday you see.

I just cleaned that MAF with MAF cleaner about a month before I sold it. Just doesn't make sense that it does this after the header install. Seems like if it was a dirty MAF it wouldve happened before as well. Best thing to do is clean it again. Just be careful they are very fragil

Briancws6.... Ha, take it to oriellys and get the codes ran. If that don't help fix it, take it to the nearest Chevrolet dealer and they will definetly solve it for you...

Yeah, I don't know. I guess I forgot to tell him about that header bolt but I was talking to him about possibly over porting it.
