Well had a great time today. Just glad the weather held off long enough to see some sweet cars.

Mustang dyno's actually dyno lower and the dyno jet usually will have higher numbers. A mustang dyno is better for tuning IMO.

Holy crap this thread is long. I've never had a chance to meet up with any Fbody guys but if you decide to meet anywhere anytime soon let me know, I'd be down to meet up and hang out. Most of my friends are pretty rice IMO so I'd like to get to know some people who like muscle and actually know wtf they're talking about.

Man don't worry bout dyno numbers so much. Honestly think you'll be close to the 325 mark. It being an auto and untuned will be it's limiting factor.

Ya I started this thread like 6 years ago or something. You ever go to Hardinsburg to the track? I'm thinking about going really soon before gas prices get crazy from this oil spill. You should join.

Can't say I've ever been, most of the guys I used to roll with spent most of the time right across the bridge. Never taken my car to the track but I'd be down to roll up and watch. When is it and what time?

Yeah i know, i need to get it to the track and really see what its got, but i figure, hey, free dyno for class experience, why not haha. all the stuff thats been on the dyno has been really shitty daily drivers with like 150 HP lol. My teacher is excited for my car to get on there and actually put some halfway decent numbers up. Apparently his son used to have a WS6 and he loved it. He said he did some tuning to it and his son thought it was a totally different car. Maybe he will do some tuning on mine haha.

There's nothing wrong with knowing ur dyno #'s. In fact it's pretty cool! Just don't be disappointed if they are low. Just a good way to see improvments from mods down the road.

Those are pretty damn good numbers! For the amount of miles ur car has and mods I'd say it did pretty well. I bet money if you have a tune you'd be close to the numbers you were wanting. Congrads!

it'd would definitely be on a Saturday. Not sure when I'll go next. I'd like to have my car done to take before I go so I'm gonna say in 3 weeks or so. Hardinsburg is prolly an hour from Da'ville

Thanks Mike. My teacher was saying that the Diablo Hand tuner does a lot for a hand-held programmer and that i might want to look into one of them. I would rather do that than drive 200 miles to find a good tuner. I prolly wont worry about it anytime soon tho, im just worried about paying it off by the end of the summer and saving some money at the same time. No mods for me for a while

Don't forget on a dyno jet that wouldve been 325. Also don't waste ur money on a Diablo. I'd just save n get HPtuners. Just my opinion though.

Diablos do alot for handheld tuners but they still suck for a tune.
