Probably not worth your drive but its 15 minutes east of Evansville. It's a 1/8th mile track.

That's what we are working very hard toward. My car is going to performance exhaust right now to get the exhaust re-done to go around my tunnel mount torq arm also. So hopefully.

I noticed a camaro up in the air there today actually. Dave is the best around here.

How about this:


Anyways, ran a best of 9.67 @ 78 mph with a 2.44 60'. It was a big ol' slip and slide for me with a wet track at times, street tires, and a little mud on the tires.

Well my PCM is floating around somewhere in America. My trans went out for the 4th time. My Talon broke a halfshaft. And I'm broke. Gotta love the fight to the death with cars.

PS. Should I leave my fast car life behind me???

Nah don't leave it behind. You just got to many irons n the fire! You need to down size and upgrade ur tranny with a proven tranny! 4l80e FTW!

I was going to say......if you keep braking the same tranny.......it would make sense to go with something different...I would have stopped after the second one

Full bolt ons on stock trans is a fail waiting to happen. Just like the guys that keep breaking the 10 bolt and complain about it. lol

I don't have the money to get a good one. Btw the first 2 was when the car was bone stock. I got my money's worth out of it. Ill admit it. I bet the hell out of it everytime I'm in it. And it's held up just fine.

Swap a converter, poof there goes nothin. And me and the rest of us know that guys on stock 4l60e's with a converter last forever. Not to mention some cammed, sprayed, etc.

They aren't as bad as everyone says. They will hold perfectly with even a cam swap. Just sometimes you gotta pay your dues and go through the downtimes of it all.

If the tranny is toast.. It's going to probably get a nasty built trans. Once my pidly $11hr job gets me there.

With the money you have spent on 4 4l60e's you could have gotten 1 built tranny that would have lasted......If the car is tuned and you are going through trannies you might want to have a look at the tune!
