The car fired up and ran like it hadn't missed a day of running. It was the puddle of fluid from the cooler lines that kept me home.

Actually there are a few more weeks of TnT if weather holds up. I should be able to hit the track soon.

Did you have a engine coolant hose crack on you?
Or was it your powersteering cooler line?

No I'm gonna let her decide, and she's taking her time about it. At 170k, she could use a rebuild anyway, but I can get the JET rebuild for $2600 (that includes install pkg), and I'm thinking that the few hundred I might save over having her original engine overhauled wouldn't be worth the hassle. And all the stuff I've found on the LS1 swap blows my mind. So I think I'm going to recommend she get the JET and use the extra money to fix the headlights, window, etc. Anybody got any taillights for sale?

Nah Beerman, I believe it was from the line fitting going into the transmission. I checked into it last night and the AN fitting wasn't tightened all the way. So, I fired my assistant mechanic.

Saturday is looking like partly sunny and 57, so it looks like Hardinsburg is in the cards. I can't wait to get some passes with the new setup.
