I was waiting for the call to come down and race... Never got it! heh. I'll get it on a track sooner or later.

I'm working a full time job (dominos) so trying to keep up w/ the schedule. But we deffinatly needa get a little get together for old times sakes. Havn't seen any of you guys in ages :-(.

You better be. I ordered some plugs and wires today to see if that will help get rid of this terrible miss I am having on the top end. I think when the manifolds get super hot on the top end that it finally got to the plug wires and they are starting to arc with the manifold. I hope this is right since this **** wasn't cheap!! O well all in the name of racing right

Mike, don't you still have a old Vette? Cotton I won't hold that against you. lol Let's just say certain Vette drivers get on my nerves. I don't mind what weekend you all would like to hookup just as long as we can have a decent turnout. I'd like to see us all back in one spot again.

Hey guys, where can I find the best info on swapping an LS1/T56 into my car? Kinda busy at work today so don't have time to surf on my own. Having internal issues with my engine and wondering if I should rebuild that one (170k mi), buy a rebuilt from JET (my brother works warranty there, so maybe a good deal), or buy the LS1/T56 combo Cliff has (77k mi). I respect you guys, and any advice you have would be appreciated.

Also, if you meet anywhere near me, stop by and I'll show you the suspension.

I think you would like the LS1, and I also drove the car of Cliff's that the LS1/T56 was in. The engine and transmission are mechanically sound. Oh and if we meet anywhere near you, you might as well join us.

Btw, for help on swapping a LS1 into a LT1 car, PM homegrownTA on this board or KYFbodies. That is Kevin from the old SIFYBC board. He has done the LS1 swap into a 96 Firebird.

 

Guess what fockers??? For the first time in 5 months...there is a transmission in my car! Just gotta tie up some loose ends and I'll be ready.
