My buddy with the same cam as above will be home from Florida soon if you want to take a ride in his to see how it is. Just give me a call sometime.
Well, the car is an A4 with low miles....20700 Bought it from a guy in Jasper, IN. with a few mods. He must have run the car hard, because when the car is opened up it doesn’t shift very smooth....

The Mods installed from what I was told~
SLP~Lid/SFC/STB/Y-pipe
GMMG Exhaust/Tips
FTRA

I’m still doing a little searching for the heads/cam, any recommendations? It seems everyone here wants there car setup for the track. Also, my budget is going to be just a little over 7 grand. Knowing that, what all would you recommend? I know the transmission is going to have to be beefed as well as the rearend. From what i've read a YankSS 3600 stall would be the best for the street.

Facktory freak..huh What makes you say that? It is a small world, if this is the car you sold your parts to. If it is, then thanks for the parts! Thats good to hear he never had any problems, but I guess running the **** out of it comes with the cars. Thanks for help on the mods. Im hoping Bob may chime in with some input as well.

Yup I'm thinking that you bought Hayze's old TA. He took real good care of that car, and yeah he was hard on it now and then, but that comes with the territory. Damn that car sounds good I know that.

Yep tyler Hayes!! I knew that was the car. Your welcome on the mods. I have sold tons of stuff to him and to Blackbird. If you are on a budget of 7000 I would say go with a 12-bolt or dana 60 rear with your choice of gears, then I would upgrade ur driveshaft. Humm then I would send your tranny to rodney at RPM transmissions and have it built up the 3600 stall would be perfect for what you want. Then I would get a set of patriot ls6 style heads and a cam. I can't really give you a recommendation on cam since there are so many to choose from and it's really up to you. Well I better stop there cuz I have you over your budget with just parts!!! I have always been a person to upgrade the drivetrain before major power mods though but you can do it however you please. Good luck and just do a ton a research on here and you will be fine.

It was fast as hell before he added anything to it. We used my G-tech and he pulled a 13.0 when it was stock. After the mods it was below 13! I thought that was pretty damn fast for an auto without a stall. I know the G=Tech isn't 100% accurate but my 6speed couldnt get that fast stock. Of course I am a non driver

Thanks for the input it feels like the searching will never end. What are the stock driveshaft good up to? The patriot ls6 style heads is what I have in mind, just looking for a mild cam now.

I ought to just sell you my H/C combo and buy Mike's AFR's and the Torquer II.
