A turbo mustang, that would be something to lookout for.

Jeeze Benjamin... You're inflating the amount of 10 second cars in the US. Pretty soon they're going to be worth nothing lol.

Well Dougless, thats a service that I provide. I like to waste alot of money on cars, then sell them and lose my ***. Its like I am addicted the buying and selling process. I also have no claims on the power or times of the mustang. I have no clue what it would, should, could do. Its too damn cold to even care.

Randizzle I'm calling the FBI talking about your explosives. You know its illegal to have ownership of C4. Anyways I think you need to give the black and yellow truck a second chance at life, drop a turbocharged v10 in it with a 800 shot on it.

wouldnt need a YSI for that, Scooter McCloud went 10.teens on a Strim and stock shortblock, on Edelbrock heads. Something like that could EASILY see 9.50s i cant keep up with that **** like i used to but low 9s are probably attainable on that if not something else.

I think it would not be too much of a problem doing that with those parts and a good track good driver and well set-up susp, you know the story should, could would and somtimes do and somtimes they dont.
Randy a c 4, you and doctor n2o could start a club. Maybe call it 250 or bust, or Lt 1 for life or somthing like that. Hahaha just kiddin.

YSi is a nasty blower. 1600 cfm, can support up to 1200 hp and 30 psi rated boost, 65k max impeller rpm with an adiabatic efficiency of 78%. All of that is very conservative. People spin the **** out all Vortech blowers and rarely and I mean rarely have any problems. Many people have run into the 8s on that blower. Thats an excellent combo you have listed there, with the right drivetrain it would easily dip into the 8s. A nice AOD or C4 would probably be the tranny I would choose. AOD preferebly for the street driving.

You could probably save some cash and go with a truck 351 out of the junkyard and just put nice internals in locally. Dont worry about those main girdles, all they do is hold your parts in a nice pile when it blows. The 2 bolt 351s have easily taken 800 hp so I wouldnt be to concerned. Either do TFS High Ports or AFR. The AFRs are more expensive, but they will out-flow the High Ports significantly out of the box. I believe the High Ports flow 257@.500 and 267 cfm@.600 while the AFRs flow 291@.500 and 306 cfm@.600. I would look at Edelbrock Super EFI intake and probably 83# injectors. The PMS will work nicely or the AEM or a twEECer.

You will peg the **** out of that ProM 80mm, I would look at an SCT Bigair 2800 meter, cheaper and more tuneable on the high horsepower cars. 70mm TB is probably perfect for the YSi and the cam selection wont be that important, you will have gobs of power to spare, so you can probably get away with an OTS TFS Stage 2 or like. Btw heres a couple of blower kits:

FYI guys have gone 9s on the little S-Trim before so you dont necessarily have to poney up all that cash for a YS or YSi. The T-Trim works nicely as well.
