About the thermo, could I set my fans at a temp where it would be earlier than normal but not so early as to drop it below 185*? I've still got the stat in the box, I thought most people were running 160*'s so I picked it up at the speed inc open house.

I bought it off evilbay.Illinois dyno pushes the predator but its vin locked and my research led me to the vinci.It has 3 fan settings,stock,210,190.I set mine at 210.Sell the thermo and buy a stocker from oreillys [$20.00] and ad a .100 shim ala thermostat mod,works great.

I've got the stock thermo still on the motor.
I saw a BRR SS with C6 wheels today.
I have wanted those friggin' wheels ever since I first laid eyes on the C6.
Also, anyone know the girl that drives the black LT1 Z28? The only times I see her driving around I'm never in my car. It's got an aftermarket cat-back. Women that drive musclecars are the ****.
I saw a blonde chick driving a blue 04 cobra about a month ago.

Yeah thats a Saturday. It seems like alot of cash to race, but aside from Fun Ford its one of the best track-prep days available, that and like 20 cars show up so you can hot-lap all day. Last year 90% of my passes were made with no other car in the lane next to me.
Yeah thats the guy with the black T/A. Its a forged 347 with a mild cam. I believe it put down 510 rwhp on a crap run and the wrenches are always turning so who knows now.

Sure, we are always out on the weekends. If you can make it to the track on Saturday then you will meet many new faces.

Thanks for the link. I see the first midnight mayhem is Fri. the 27th. Then not again until July 1st or something.
I'm still going to see about Saturday. Is there anywhere to buy a helmet around here, without spending a ton. How much is it to rent one at the track?

This saturday at Cordova... Is this a test and tune for $30, or is that to enter a bracket race. I did not see any details on the web site. How many time runs before 1st round if its a bracket race? I am planning on going, but would like some info. Are you guys club members? I am just going to show up with my $30, it will be my first time at this track. See you guys this weekend.

try avenue of the cities formerly known as 23rd ave in moline. thats where most people cruise and hang out. its not in iowa but its right across the river. im up there almost every friday/sat night. just drive from one to the other and keep an eye out for people hangin out or drivin around. if you see a som ws6 give me a holla. kev

It's looking unlikely that I'll be runnin' at the track saturday though. I'll have my boy so maybe I'll just come hang. I was planning on doing the drill mod before I got any track time on the car anyway. Glennster is going to help me out with drill mod, fluid change.
I need to put on my friggin !CAGS too. I keep putting it off.
