Chris, it was white with the racers name on the side. Downpipe exiting through the front left fender. I'm not sure how much of a street car it is, they wouldn't let it compete in the import shootout. I believe it could trap 140+, the runs I saw it make weren't solid.

Also, you should have went. It was actually really good, just all the fast domestics left at like 3:00 or shortly after. There were plenty of them too.

Better hurry, next semester will be starting soon. Then he'll have a solid rear, stage 4 clutch, and a whipple.

I'll go if the heat and humidity, or atleast the humidity, is low, otherwise it's not worth it IMO.

I'm definitely looking forward to October test and tunes.

Midnight mayhem is great. If you dont like heads up racing get faster car.Yeah there aint many cars doing better than 120s but last i checked that was good for 10s. With no track prep that is pretty impressive. That event is not for getting normal tree lights and test and tune. Its about 2 cars anormal street style light and fisrt one to the end.

Blah. Midnight Mayhem blows.

Nothing but a majority of total retards out there, and it's a total waste of money to race roughly less than 5 times within 4 hours, and waste nearly an hour waiting for the fat, ugly, nasty skanks, I mean Flag Girl contest, to get the hell over with.

Sorry but I drive out there and pay to ******' race, not waste time on a stupid NOPI-wannabe show.

I agree they do need to scratch the flag girls and the burnout contest. You wont see that on the street. (and it's a waste of race time) Other than that I like it. Race if you want, or just watch and see what kind of traps your "local competition" can put up, in case you meet 'em on the street. There's nothing better for me to do Friday @ midnight anyway.

BTW, that 4 door purple import with the bright yellow wheels who trapped 69 was stupidly riding on my *** afterwards until finally passing me like he was cool. If I would have known it was him before he passed I would have gunned it, I wonder if he would have been able to get around my carbureted '88 corolla.

-EDIT- Last time, the time you didn't go, the flag girls looked good. They were jailbait though. -EDIT-

Last edited by LSWannabe; Aug 12, 2005 at 01:20 AM. Reason: jailbait :)

If they got rid of the Flag Girl Contest and the Burnout Contest (really, both are stupid and a total waste of time), then I'd enjoy it a hell of a lot more reguardless of all the "tuner" retards.

There were 2 i remember distinctly!! Yeah it's always all good when you bring your own track prep!!! Except when the damn Staging ****'s won't give you a time for deep staging!

Well tonight's Test and Tune blew chunks if you ask me. My first run was a shitty as hell 13.3 @ only 107, then the rest of the night I was stuck with 13.5's and 13.6's, all at freakin' 106 MPH... Everyone was getting 2.2's-2.4's that I was talkin' to for 60's, and that's all I was getting too.

But what pisses me off most, is even with the shitty times, why the hell is my speed so low? Even if I have shitty or decent launches, my times are always between 108-110.

I think either something's fucked up with my engine, or the clutch isn't hangin' on like it should because it's becoming notably softer and less grabby even in normal driving.

Either way, tonight sucked and I'm pissed about my speeds.

traction and humidity.Try not to jump to fast conclusions,a 2.1 to a 2.4 60' is a large drop in ET.My 81 Z/28 used to run low 10 teens @134,when the summer heat came I would jet down accordingly and run 10.30 and lose 2-4 MPH.Plus the "sharpness" was gone,in the fall the ET/MPH would come around again.

Your cars totally fucked dude. The fact thats its trapping so low means its going to blow up soon.

Actually it was a decent DA today. Around 2500 ft at 2000. Probably just traction, a little wheel spin helps trap speed, but alot brings it down.

Yeah but if you had a shot at winning it you might feel otherwise. Bens car would have easily taken it if it didnt decide to betray him.

So where does everyone work? Are there any local sites to check out? I have seen a lot of nice cars over the weekend, there was a little get together at the parts store by my g/fs apt..... Sorry to interupt the track news, but I'll catch up on that next summer.
