I miss home that is for sure, people here are cool and very nice, but the weather here sux, I like the hot *** summers and mild winters.

There's a lot of things I miss about Wisconsin to be honest, but I doubt I could move back.
I really miss the layout of cities up there, down here its one big sprawling commingled concrete mess of non-zoned properties. There's no feeling of individuality in the Houston area.
I really miss people with driving ability. You don't realize how WELL and COURTEOUS people drive up there, until you come here
I miss WATER !! I've always lived no more than 4 miles off the lakefront (Michigan). This is a change, and I don't like it..
On the plus side, it stays warm here, our racetracks are open all year, performance cars on every corner, good food !!! There's a crapload of "Texas Pride" that is pretty unique to the state, folks really do feel close ties to Texas..

Wisconsin International Raceway they have a 1/4 mile dragstrip as well as 1/2 and 1/4 mile paved ovals all in one grounds. I am in New London which is just west of Appleton or SW or Green Bay if you prefer. I plan to make it down to GLD a few times this year.
