Any of you guys planning on heading down to Detroit Autorama at Cobo Hall March 4,5 and 6?

Anyone putting their car in the show?

 

I've gone the last few years but I'm sick of the ricers and I can only see so many Pro-street Chevelles and '32 coupes. I think I'll pass this year.

We will be down there. We have a booth this year and will be bringing
two f-bodys.

But i know what you mean about all the rice. And you can only look at so many fiddy mini motorcycles.

 

No more Ricers near the cool cars this year. They all are going to be down stairs. They are calling it Autorama extreme. The finally heard us complaining about them and shipped them to the basement. Ill be up stairs though, have to work all three days.

 

It was a good show overall. Got to meet a few people off the boards and made some good contacts.

2005 should be a great year for Detroit's LS1 community.

 

it was really freaking cool this year. downstairs was great, with the imports next to the rat rods. i think my next project is gonna be a late 20's ford with the electra's 455 dropped in......those "old skool" rides were by far my favorite, but there was enough there to keep everyone happy. even smashbob nopants was there!
