I'm not going
I went to extended tech at Chicagoland Speedway for NHRA, and my car will not pass a tech inspection. No cage, no driveshaft loop, my harnesses are not SFI approved, and not enough of the wheel studs sticking out of the prostars. Oh well, you all have fun. Maybe I will go to 41 instead.

i wouldnt pass tech either if GLD actually checks cars this year, theyll most likely just tell you to slow it down and let you continue running.
get a couple good runs in then shut it down at the 1000'
i doubt youll get 3 runs in anyway on opening day.

yeah plus gld rarely checks that crap I ran with no nitrous blow down tube all the time there and actually they never even checked to see if I had nitrous or a ds loop or a cage

I was banking on some real lax tech inspection myself... But I sold a C6 on saturday 
so I might get a DSL and my SFC's this week before we go.

I will be there and will not let my slowness rub off on anyone. Most likely carpool with Baddog if I can get away with it, but may have to drive the mini there.

I'll be there with a few other guys, one other f-body. Its my first time to the track so I don't really know what its like. Do a lot of the f-body guys hang out in the same area? Well if you see me come say whats up. I'm not sure what the average is, but I'm hoping to be in the 11s. I hope they arn't too strickt because I don't have any safty equipment. I wanted to get my extreme torque arm with safty loop on before I went but I'm out of time. Guess I'll try and if I get a good enough run to **** them off the first time, then I'll be happy with it anyway. See you guys there.

Not looking good for me...car wont start and I cant figure out why it has fuel and spark if any nice experienced lt1 guys wanna come check it out you're more than welcome btw this is a new motor built by APE but most everything else was unchanged on the motor so I have no idea why it aint running. It cranks and sometimes back fires but wont start
