Anyone in the Elgin area that wants to meet up for a cruise let's coordinate a time and place. From there we can have a burn out contest in front of my house.

If I had my TA still, I would donate some tire to the cause. I'm over by Santas Village.

I don't drive my SOM SS that much. You've probably seen me in my 96 dd. That thing will smoke a mean tire too (note the singular "tire") LOL I'm due to get some new tires soon so I may need to polish the old ones off.
I'd be down for cruising sometime when the weather is decent.

Brian's car (sunset01SS) is ridiculous. It is one of if not the most meticulously kept LS1's i've ever seen. Plus you cant really miss him with his exhaust.....It sounds real nice.

The weather is suppose to get cooler throughout the week. I was thinking of planning a cruise for this weekend in the Elgin area but I think it might be a little early. Lets see how the weather is and go from there. One of my favorite places to hang out is at the internet cafe at Bowes and Randall Rd in Elgin (next to the Wendy's). The manager at Wendys is totally not cool so we can't park there anymore. Nobody bothers you at the internet cafe.

If this isn't bullshit I don't know what is. I am 17 years old, turning 18 in 2 months and have never had a ticket until last night. Last night I got a ticket for "Illegal screaching/squeeling of tires," When I BARELY spun my tires at all going around a corner. Then to top it off, tonight I get a speeding ticket!!! for going 39 in a 25. Now I'm going to get my license suspended for probably 3 months or more, lose my job, and be stuck doing nothing for 3 months. I got my "Illegal Screaching/squeeling" ticket in some Rinky dink small town where a cop saw me from blocks away supposedly, and then I was in town tonight going with the flow of traffic, and of course I get picked out of the crowd because i'm in a camaro, damnit!

kyle91z28 - Get a lawyer, usually runs about $150 a ticket. He will probably get the squeeling one dismissed, and the speeding will be a fine and court supervision. Just gotta lay low for awhile on supervision. If you have previous tickets, ask the lawyer to get them expunged. They can do this if tickets are within two years. again, get a lawyer. It may cost some some $$$ now, but save you tons over the next few years (insurance)

SLP CARS '98 - I am down for a Elgin cruise, and I can always swing by your place open up the cutout, hit the line-lock or trans-brake and let the old 408 Stroker rip. I am by the Elgin HS on Irving also.
Had my car out two days, already had the cops called yesterday (cutout closed) Cop was cool and just checked out the car, didn't even want to hear it. At first he would not tell me who called. We BS'ed about cars for like an hour, but when he was leaving he honked and pointed at the house that called

If those are your only tickets, you should be getting traffic school.
