Well it was an awesome night to go cruzin, cept for the fact that I got a ticket for careless driving, because my passenger stood up to take video or other cars. P.S. he got a ticket as well.

The video is really not that great for what its gonna cost me ($210) but if someone could help me post it up you would definatly get to see it sooner. I'm not exactly sure how to get the film on my computer since its not a digital. I don't know what my buddy exactly got, his ticket said obstruction of the driver's view and he said he thinks its legal to not wear a seat belt if your in the back seat, so I'll have to find out today.
P.S. my friend said that hes going to pay for my ticket so I might go in half and half with him since I'm legally responsible for everyone in my car. Just hope I can get it reduced so I don't have any points on my license.

I can help you convert it to digital video. What you doing tonight(tuesday)? We have a video capture card and all the other crap needed.

Sucks that it cost $210 for the ticket, and I hate to say this but if you don't get a lawyer, you're not going to reduce it. Call this number: (586) 979-6000 ask for Joe Palazollo(sp?), it ran me $200 in lawyer fee's and he still got my careless down to a no point $100 fine ticket (and I have many points). If it's your first offense he can probably get you no points. And trust me, every time you get a ticket, fight it, with a lawyer, i've learned my lesson.

Lawyer is the only way to go, its worth the money in the end. I had a 20 over in a construction zone (the workers were all gone for the day so nobody was in danger) and it was a state boy and my lawyer got it down to something like impeding traffic or whatever and it cost me $75 no points and didnt get sent to Lansing so it is only on record in that city and my insurance company doesnt know.

A lawyer is worth the $200

I have every intent of fighting the ticket, Its my first offense so hopefully I can get out of it and keep my insurance down. Lawyer fees will certainly be cheaper than what I'll end up paying in insurance increases.

Well I figured I'd update on what is going on. My aunt was able to get my ticket brought down and I only have to pay $120 and I won't get any points or even have to go to court. I'm so pumped, time to go cruzin again when it gets nice out.
