Default Scale by Speed Inc.

Anyone hit the scale by Speed Inc. lately?

I used it last nite and the car was 3440-3460 with me in it. (I'm 200). 3450 sounds about right for where I think my car is weight-wise.

Anyone else?

We have used it in the past. Haven't since last year though. It seems pretty accurate.

My stock weight 98 Z weighed 3480, pretty accurate I guess. They are always turning the scale off at night nowadays.

Jorgensen Steel

Go East on Albion and turn right...it's up about 3 blocks on the right. The scale is on the South side of the building.

If you use it, don't screw around and spoil it for the rest of us.

I think late afternoon or later, most truck guys tend to be 7-3pm folks.

I wish I knew about that scale. I have yet to get a weight for my car, and I've been to speed four times now. I'll have to try and remember that......

*Edit: I got east/west backwards. *

I was at the scale today. I weighed in at 3,660 with a half tank of gas and me in the car. I weigh about 160. I made the mistake of driving through the truck yard and there was quite a few people giving me weird looks. For anyone that chooses to use the scale, there is a driveway on Mitchell Bvld Mitchell Bvld is at the end of Albion. If you drive through the truck yard, after a a while I imagine the people may get tired of random people driving through just to use there scale so make sure you access the scale on Mitchell Bvld. To use the scale just pull up on top of the pad and it'll read your weight on a screen. For those who use the scale please respect the property otherwise, we may lose our privelegdes(sp?).

If you can't figure out how to use this scale I would put you in the challenged category. The scale is at the building at the corner of Mitchell Bvld. and Albion Dragway. I believe on the side of the building it says EMJ in real big letters. If you're on Albion looking at this building the scale is in the back of the building. The drive to get to the scale is on Mitchell unless you drive through the truck yard, which I strongly recommend you do not do.

I would NOT recomend driving through the truckyard. I went down with SLP Cars 98 yesterday and where were a bunch of people looking at us. plus you drive through sections with signs that say EMJ employee parking only and all this other random ****. It would really suck if that scale got shut down or turned off at night. if you turn in off of mitchell its only a couple hindred feet in.
