Just got this car, trying to find a local mechanic who can do some mods for me.
(My car has the same engine and drivetrain as an '05 wrx.)
I don't have **** for tools, and not much know how.

Don't want to take it somewhere because that is major $$$.

I would post on NASIOC but a lot of them have some egos.


Looking to replace entire shifter assembly if anyone has the know how, I got some $$$ for ya. thanks.

Also plan on modding some more in the future.

i was thinking more of a shadetree mechanic, not a shop.

I post on Nasioc and one of my close buddies posts there too. 02R6 (Jordan) is his username. PM him if you get a chance. He's done quite a bit of work on his car. He's here in Columbus, but may know of some local guys you may be able to meet up with or get in touch with.
