go to autozone, i believe they rent those out for free, you pay a little when you pick it up and you get all your money back ehrn you return it.

Well I am pulling the heads now. A piston hot a valve on the passenger side... after a week a couple valve stem keepers melted to the retainer and the valve dropped.

I am not very happy right now.

That sucks man, I know how you feel.

I am killing an alternator a day right now. Killed the 2nd one in an hour, killed the third in 3 hours.

Why? charging the battery up B-4 you install the new alternator? + get a delco reman they work. The regulator is PCM controlled in the alt, the non- delco ones seem to suck IMO.

The ones I have been going through are the Duralast remans... They have a lifetime warranty. I think I'l keep changing them till I find one that works. I've got it down to 15 minutes or so. BTW, autozone replaced my battery for free today too (1 year warranty.)

They did. The car runs fine till I twist it up to 6600 RPM, then I notice a sharp drop in voltage (gauge goes from just over 13 to the edge of the red warning area.) Autozone replaced the battery and the alternator for free.
