Yeah the Rock and the Blaze were the ****. Now there is nothing IMO. 95.1 hardly comes in. 96.9 is good if you live north. I am so tired of 60's, 70's and 80's rock. I need my modern medal fix. Guess it's back to pir*** I mean borrowing.

dont feel too bad, when 103.5 went otu i started searchign fro my own new music and got into european metal speed/progressive, we have no radio stations fro that stuff aroudn here, few years back he had sometihng at like midnight a few hrs, but i dont remember it well.

There will be another station. 94.7 wasn't always new rock. When it was CD 94.7 (prior to "the Zone") it was just another 97.9 copycat. And before that 94.7 was a country-western station.

Stations change all the time around here. The only one that's remaind the same for as long as I can remember is 97.9 (loop). Back in highschool I used to listen to 105.9 and 107.9 I think they were. They were full time classic rock, but they didn't make it either.

95.1 is good. I work in Gurnee so once I get away from the city it comes in perfect.

i never knew the old 96.7 became 95.1, ive been listening to them the last couple of days now, comes in perfect north of Batavia, down here in Montgomery its nothing but static

i listen to it on the way to work, its clear up untill you hit warrenville/naperville area, i ahve a fealing anything farther south of that is another station
