I'm just really happy that the sox are shutting up all those east coast announcers... for both the red sox and Angels series they weren't giving the sox much credit...

Now if fox would STOP making hte commercials go into the game, and would quit w/the stupid commentaries DURING the game... and stop showing 50 million replays while someone's batting... it'd be better ... Fox has really dropped the ball on the world series as far as I'm concerned

 

You know who cares what everyone is saying. Our Chicago White Sox, the team we all followed for so many years, are now going to be World Champions in our life-time.

 

It sucks I am out in San Francisco for teh rest of teh week. I had no one to party with last night.

 

Has anyone ever swept the World Series in the past? If so, what team and what year?

 

I believe sox make team number 19 to sweep

They were giving a stat on ESPN that 18 of the past 21 teams that went up 3-0 have swept in the world series, 3 forced a game 5 and lost, 1 caused a game 6 and lost... no team has ever come back from 3-0

As for teams... in most recent history... red sox did it to the cardinals last year

 

well i know last year Boston swept Cards.....

 

I'm not gonna lie, but I'm a cubs fan. But I refuse to be the a-hole cubs fan who wants the Sox to lose. I'm willing to adopt the Sox since my cubbies aren't there, so I'm happy for them! GO SOX! Keep Chicago in der!
