another legal question
i just got into an accident this morning and i was at fault. i already have 2 speedingtickets on my record so the failure to reduce speed put me at 3 moving violations in 2 years and im only 19. i cant afford to have my license suspended i have to drive almsot 50 miles roud trip a day for school. what would my best plan be? i have never been in this type of situation before so i dont know what to do. get a laywer and try for supervision? any tips or ideas would be great! thanks a ton!!!

In Indiana, we've got a deferral program. You can have your ticket deferred, but you have to behave yourself behind the wheel for a set period of time. If you don't get anymore tickets in that time frame, then the points from the violation will not show up on your license. The ticket still has to be paid, but it saves you much more in terms of auto insurance.

Do supervision. I have done it a couple of times. Still lost my license in the long run because I couldn't behave myself though. Talk to the states attorney about getting supervision. Explain your situation about having to drive to school. They might help you out. Also if you do lose your license I think you can get a permit for driving to work or maybe school. I think they just set like certain hours you can drive or something. Talk to the States attorney though. I did supervision a couple of times and never had to use a lawyer. It will cost more for the ticket but it will not go on your record. Hope this helps.

i got around my suspension by getting a license in another state before suspesion took place, and the only reason i paid to the fines and get the suspension and speeding tickects removed when i came back is because the job needed a instate DL for there employees.

where do you have to go to court?
My lawyer got me out of a jam really cheap, Drag racing, wreckless driving, 110 in a 45, improper lane change, etc etc etc- they threw thebook at me.
He knows all the judges in the Downers Grove courthouse, and im sure many others- he used to be a state prosecutor.
Give him a call: Nicholas C. Kirkeles (630) 261-0250
he works out of oakbrook.

Damn UTI Kids....
J/k i use to be one myself and got hit in my IROC by some jackass that lived in Wisconsin.... My Attorney is Michael Konewko 630-231-5500 he works out of west chicago. He got by buddy out of drunk driving charges.....because My buddy stopped on railroad tracks and since thats private property the railroads have to press charges not the city or town.
