Admiral is nothing special.

Rush Street downtown is a strip of bars, by Rush and Division. Lots of stuff around there.

Rush Street has about 30 bars all clustered together. For a lone out-towner it's a good idea. Clark Street bars (By Wrigley Field) are okay but it's cold out so there won't be people walking around as much. Way more cute girls on Rush.

Don't listen to Sgt B. He likes hanging around on Bellmont in a skirt.

Even better than Admirals and Diamonds is "Sugar Shack" in Lake Geneva, but that's almost by the WI border. Very laid-back place, nobody bothers you, and a lot hot girls. Cover fee $10, table dance $20, 1-on-1 dance $25 - full nudity

Edit: Here's the website http://www.sugarshack.com/female/findex.html

Also, the girls on the website are nowhere near being as pretty as the one actualy dancing....I don't think I saw a single girl over 20 yrs....

Also, yea Diamonds has "BYOB" but it can only be hard liquor, so when you drink vodka, or rum you obviously need to wash it down with some juice, and that's where you pay $8 for a glass of juice

restaurants: Benihana is nice (Japanese) and fogo-de-chau (sp.) (all you can eat meats...) It's a bit pricey. comes out like $70/person. But you get what you pay for....
Also, you may wanna taste chicago deep dish pizza. Pizzeria UNO is fameous for one...

Maybe do some research on www.metromix.com and go from there. There are a thousand restaurant around here.

If you are cruising around, try driving on Clark street from Irving to where it ends by LaSalle, there are bars and things. Lincoln from where it begins (Clark/Wells) to maybe Diversey has some things.

Most of the strip places in the city will be expensive.

another vote for fogo-de-chau- theres one out in the burbs run by the same company- called Sal Carvao, located in downers grove at the corner of 22nd and finley. also one in schaumburg.
go for lunch, i think it'll be the best $20-$40 youve ever spent on food http://www.salecarvao.com/
