Need some honest opinions on Street Rod w LS1
I'm new to this, not sure where to post. But since i live in KY thought this might be the place, Also not sure how the pics are going to look. If someone could give me some pointers on that?

I think the LS1 is a great engine for a Rod, but the car needs to match the engine so to speak. A traditional Rod like a '32 Duece won't look right IMO unless it is made to have a slightly modern tilt to it. However a 41 *****'s would be great. I guess the car needs to a low sleek look to it in order to look right. Your pics are way too small for me to comment on your particular car.

Make sure to post those pics in the Hybrid/Conversion forum.
One reason the LS1 is so popular with the 'rod crowd is that the engine is 80lbs lighter than an LT1 and makes more power stock. You are at 400hp stock.

Oh yea much better. Your car looks sweet. The stance is rigth as is the wheel/tire combo as well as the paint and interior. I hope you got what I was trying to say before about the build style matching the engine. I have seen some rods that look like they came right out of the 80's that have LS1/LT1 swaps and it just does not match right. You however seem to have hit the nail right on the head.
