Default $$Built 10 bolt FS near Chicago$$

As stated above, I am selling my built 10 bolt. I put it through it's paces and have been very satisfied with it but I am looking to throw more at it this year and beyond. As you can see in my sig I have tested it and it held up great. The only issue with it now is that the pinion seal leaks due to me re-using the crush collar. I am in the process of repairing it now with a new collar and it will be good to go. While it is apart I would be glad to show potential buyers the condition of the internals which are all great. I will sell it complete as it
sits (apart) for $550 or $600 together with new collar and seal. This would be ideal for show cars, street cars, auto cars that drag or any autoX car. As you can see in my sig I dragged it in my heavy M6 car and it did great.

Rear Description:
4 Channel ABS
T2 Torsion 3 series

Upgrades:
T/A Girdle/Cover
Moser Axles
Upgraded Studs
4.10 Gears
Welded Axles tubes
Welded LCA Brackets
Sandblasted
Black Powder coated (not POR-15, actually coated and baked)

Thanks Brian. Send me an e-mail and let me know how the arm went. I lost your home account.

Some may have read about how I thought I had problems with the diff or gears. Well after I took it apart I discoverred it was only the collar and seal. Gears and diff are completely fine. I will take pictures and post them up when I get a chance. The rear is still in the car till I get a buyer. But will not take long to remove. This is a good strong rear. I drove it 2hrs to US41 made 10 passes with numbers similar to my sig and drove home.

Thanks for looking.

I can put the 3.42s back in it if you want. It is already apart.

I wish I hadn't just spent my money on different mods. That is a really good deal.

ProjectCamaro: I would like to see pics of that hood on your car.

It is a great deal. I have over 1k invested in this rear in mods alone.

It is from a 2002 Z28. Total miles is 29K but many parts have much less. Gears have 2k, axles 23K etc... No brake parts are included. I need the backing plates. I can sell it complete with backing plates if I get a set on trade. Otherwise if you are local I will be glad to help swap your backing plates out. I will respond to request for PMs now. Look for pics of internal parts very soon. I have to load them on here tomorrow. If you are interested in high res pics, PM me your e-mail and I will send them out to you. And just to re state, I have both 3.42 and 4.10 gears, so you have your pick. I will not budge from my pricing. I can, however, offer my two hands to help on the swap.

Thanks for the interest.

heres my only questions:

that setup should work strong with a bolt-on modded car making 360rwhp?
My factory rearend makes a lot of chatter when turning, but its also has 9x,xxx miles on it.

Nothing has been changed that would make mounting the factory brake callipers, aftermarket PHB and shocks an issue?

That is were my car was and it did fine. Sounds like your posi is going. I have no noises or issues arround turns or any other time for that matter.

None of this should affect this rear. Should all bolt on like OE.

I thought my posi was going too, but when the car had 23,xxx miles on it, it mad e the same sound. I took it to the dealer, they replaced the posi, wheel bearing, etc. everything and it still makes the same chatter around turns. Its done it for the last 70,xxx miles. Its been drove hard and at the strip. So its puzzeling.

Just a note. I also need my ABS rings too located on the axles. So I can either give you my parts fir yours or keep my own parts and you switch them out. I am happy to help if need be.
