Time to put it all together I have a 2004 GTO, and I'm looking to find a company that can do a head and cam swap. I live in the northern Chicago suburbs. I have been thinking about taking it to Speed Inc in Schaumberg, however I have heard some negative's about them such as they don't have any ASE certified tech's. Any suggestions?

If you were to look at your local mechanic shops you will see a lot of "ase certifed by them (shop)or on location ceftified" - at least that what i've seen at a few mechanic shops. I would say as long as you have heard they do a good job and stand by there work it'd be alright but if you heard negative then go to another place.

For Chicagoland area work, I'd recommend either www.flp2win.com or www.ls1speed.com . They are site sponsers.

Ready to have parts installed I now have all the parts to start modding. I will be doing a set of heads and a cam with rockers etc. I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago, and I'm looking for a good place to have all of this installed. Any suggestions?

For the most part they come highly recommended. They did my converter/shift kit, dyno tune, duals, tranny swap and other little misc things. In short, they did everything I didn't. No major complaints...
