Default who can fix this thing?!

I have a 98 Formula with a bad engine, lifter came apart and destroyed the bore. Live southeast of Cincinnati and have had two mechanics who don't know what they are doing other than take my money. Need a good engine and someone who can put it in right. Any help would be appreciated. Will post pic when I get it home. It's been raced hard but great shape. Suspension, wheels, and tires upgraded. 6 speed, 80000 miles. Thank you.
THANK YOU EVERYONE! TSperformance in Blue Ash is going to fix. Help was appreciated.

Default Good or Bad place to have LS1 work done?

TS-Performance in Blue Ash (Cincinnati, Ohio). I talked to Tyler at TS today and he gained some of my confidence about working on my 98 Formula with a ragged lifter bore. Suggested finding used engine and letting them rebuild it at the approximate cost of $800.00 (for the rebuild) assuming no machining needs done. Said would then install and guarantee work. Sounds great but I'm hoping to get some reviews from y'all first. Been burnt twice on this car already and would love to hear and feel it run right again soon.

Pulling and swapping a motor cheap would be $500, and market might be $700-1000.

If you put in a new longblock, I would also put in an ported oil pump.

If you are not on a tight budget, I'd do new rings and bearings, and why not do a cam at the same time.

PM "Inconformula" aka Steve T, he's down by you and does side jobs. He and his buddy Mike are handy.
