yeah, i'm in a similar situation as adam. for the first 6 months I was employed 100% of my paycheck went into my bank account. my dad actually paid for majority of my formula, but I still put down the $1500 deposit and cut him a check at the end of every month to pay him back. I also pay my own insurance and gas. Which sucks when you have a cammed car and a heavy foot.

 

I can't burn you guys because my dad helped me get a new truck when I was in college, then ate the difference on the trade when I got my Camaro. I made payments and payed my own gas and insurance, but they helped me out when I was short. Of course I have been out of college for nearly 4 years and I still have over 20k in student loans though. Car should be paid off by March. A full year early.
