Default This crazy weather...

Yesterday it was a beautiful sunny day in the mid 50s, I was going to wash and wax my car outside for once, but decided not to after rain was forecast for today.

And of course it did rain, and sleet... and in a half hours time we got about 3 1/2 inches of snow and its still coming down strong . I just went to move my car so my brother could leave and I've never felt so blind in my life. Tons and TONS of really wet snow. This has been the craziest winter that I can remember.

at least we're like half way through winter ... hopefully

I took yesterday off work to take care of some personal business. I also figured it'd be a good day to do an oil change on my DD. I was working outside without a coat and it felt great. Then I was driving around with the windows down and feeling like it was April. Today, it's back to reality. Winter, in Chicago....

This snow is a special type of pain-in-the-***. It's way too wet in my area to use a snowthrower. So it's either shovel it, or leave it. Haven't decided which one I'm gonna do yet, have to see how I feel in the morning.

dunno the specs... it's a craftsman MTX or something.... snowblowing takes longer w/this thick snow.... but it's just a matter of taking your time.... at least from my experience (I'll be the one plowing in the mornin so will know for sure...)

just a matter of moving at the right speed.... low gear is a good thing

(I've plowed in deeper wet snow w/this thing... just a matter of speed)

The Indiana state government voted to skip Winter this year.

It's still quite mild here in Central Indiana, and there's not a trace of snow (so far). It's Indiana, so if you don't like the weather just wait five minutes

Snowblower did better than I thought. But at some points it looked like it was spraying water.

For the past few weeks winter has been next to non existant. I feel bad for anybody around here that makes their winter money snow plowing. They are probably broke by now.

Anyway, if the snow is to wet for your snowblower, I suggest you try this one out

Holy ****!

Now THAT is impressive. And I though I was nuts for considering a custom 5hp N2O shot for my snowblower.

hmm lets see, it was in the mid 50s, then the next day it sleeted and then snowed, then two days later it was back to being 50s

this does seem to be a very warm winter though...

How much you guys get?

I'm near Wrigley Field and got maybe 2 inches, and it's melting fast.
