The guys a hack . I know of 2 people that had issues after they had work done to their cars. Defiantly DO NOT have him touch anything on your transmission . His warranties are worthless and he'll keep coming up with excuses . Go to Cincy Speed.

Why would someone use grade 2 bolts to attach a lower blower pulley to the crank damper. Procharger specifies grade 8 bolts. Thats what Dave at Dave's total performance did to mine and it sheared them right off. Unbelievable, anyone else who had a supercharger install with him had better check on theirs since luckily I caught mine in time and nothing was damaged except I had to get a new damper and lower pulley. Cheaper is definitely not better.

I will definitely, still gathering information on my mishaps with my car, charges for things he didn't perform. My list is growing. In my opinion the guys a crook and I would like to see him shut down so noone else gets hosed.

Unfortunately I am a believer. I made the mistake of taking my C6 Vette to DTP for a clutch and cam in January 2011. I have spent greater than 3X more getting the car put back into drivable condition by competitent mechanics. It is still not on the road yet.
I have filed complaints with BBB, Ohio Attorney General and have a law suit pending against DTP. I have digital images and statements from certified mechanics on all the issues, plus.
The list is long but just a few examples of his attention to detail.
He sent me home "test" driving on the highway with:
- The steering rack not bolted into the car.
- Brake lines not fastened in and strapped across the rear exhaust.
- Bolts missing out of the bell housing
etc.

Bought some ls3 heads off Dave at a fair price for what they were advertised as beings (1k miles new take off heads from a customers car with no hard run time.) After taking the heads to my builder for a once over he decked the heads and found a fair amount of nicks and gouges in two of the combustion chambers. Clearly something let go and caused the damage. When I picked up the heads they looked clean but seems someone filled in the damage and painted them. So what I thought was a good deal ended up requiring new valves, heads welded and reworded and a new valvejob. I wasnt thrilled but when paying cash what can you do. . .
