You know you own an F-body when every passenger in your car remarks on the quality of the interior (and not in a good way).

... when you make excuses for your slow passenger window motor by insisting that the car is temporarily rerouting all its torque to the rear wheels.

... when your stock hood is worth more than your stock engine. Oh wait, that's WS6 only D:

You know you own an f-body when you've memorized every hump, bump, and dip in the road in 10 square miles to avoid scraping your off road y-pipe.

realizing a stereo is useless weight as yo cannot hear it over the exaust so you remove it .

and for those of use who have the old f bodys (2 g's) , knowing the firebird had 3 motors available in the base models and one wasn't a Buick ...

an what was wrong with the 4 banger 3rd gen ?? 4 speed stick and 30-40 mpg it was great ! . and what was funny is it was faster than other 4 bangers Gm and imports made at the time , I wonder if they put one with a turbo in to a 4th gen what the milage figures would have been like as its a more slippery body , ( speed no , milage yes and looked sharp too ! )

or the best one to date siting at a light and have a newer moostang not pullup along side at the light he just stayed back behind the sailpanel listening to the idle of my RA3 400 ( 70 FB) , just wishing ...

you know you drive an fbody when your lady bugs you to go shoppingand you think of summit racing or jegs.

What other stores could you possibly need to visit?

When you climb through the back seat to get to the trunk because it's raining out and you don't want water draining into your car...

When you always attempt to park beside other fbodies when in a parking lot

When you know a bfh mod is something you do for tire clearance

When you go start your car up and rev it a few times before going to bed

When you dread changing spark plugs...

You know you drive an f-body when you park 2 spaces away from cars in a parking lot and still worry that your doors may hit the other car when all the way open.
