I need one, that's for sure, but I don't know what brand to buy, or where to get one, or which one will work best for me.
Anybody know?
heymoej emailed me this link, but I don't know **** about these alternators.

Do you think it's possible that you have an electrical short somewhere? I know you've been through several alternators now and I just can't see all this alternators being junk. Just my .02.

chris, I have to agree with zach on this one, you may have a short somewhere, back when I was reading about blowing up alternaters at 7k I decided to see what happened on my car. the alt held up just fine at 7k. I pulled to 7k a few times too just to make sure it worked.

If that were the case, why would the alternators only blow when I take it to 6000 rpm plus? I could almost guarantee that if I didn't beat on the car, I could make this one last.
