idling help

I don't know if anyone can help, but...
I just had a 224/228 on112lsa cam installed (and supporting parts)
Now the car idles at 2000 rpms for about 15 seconds before it drops down to 1200 or so then finally to around 900 rpms. Then, when the car is moving, when I shift the rpms shoot back to 2000 rpm and I basically have to pop the cluch into each gear. Then, once in gear, since the RPM's want to stay so high, the car will accelerate by itself if I'm in a gear and lower than 2000 rpms. Right now this is killing my Gas mileage and probably isn't good for the clutch.

So I was wondering if anyone has any tuning program that can fix my idle problem?

Had it tuned for the cam?
No vacuum leaks?

Yeah, it was tuned. They said they checked for vacuum leaks and found none? Also, I was told that it was set that high so the car wouldn't die when I came to a stop, but I dont' think it should hang up at 2000 rpms for as long as it does, and it should definitely not make my car accelerate on it's own!

That's why iwas saying it might've been the dyno. Without the load, they're not going to be tuned accurately. Its basically like tuning it on an engine dyno and then just throwing it into a car. We can help ya out if you'd like, like i said, give us a call on Monday.

Did you throttle body hole get drilled out?

Your idle tables are probably out of wack, send me your file, I'll check it out for ya, maybe even fix it. Also send me a complete list of mods.
