northeast ohio help Does anyone know if my car will pass e-check with LT's and catted Y. I live in Akron and I have to do a stupid e-check and just wanted to know, also is there anyone running LT's in summit county.
Are they doing the OBDII test or will they sniff it? Any other mods on the car? I can help, my TR230 with MAC headers and catted Y passed e-check here in Dayton. I'm just glad we got rid of it! WOOHOO!

They use the ODBII test in Summit county, at least they do at the Twinsburg e-check. Like they said as long as you don't throw codes your ok. Some e-check stations will also do a mirror test, on performance cars, to look under you car to make sure you have cats and not racing pipes.

It was dropped in Dayton and Cincinatti. The only area I know that still does it is the Cleveland area. I'll see if I can find the county list.

If your tuned and you don't throw codes you should be ok.
They don't sniff with the ODBII
I am hoping to pass it myself if they are still doing it in 2008.
I've heard rumors that it may be gone by then.
