Anybody heading over to 41 this weekend? I'm planning on getting there in the morning if the rain holds out.

I'll probably be there again Saturday, with another goat owner.

I keep checking the forecast, one second I'm terrified of rain, the next it should be fine. It's driving me nuts! I've got a shift light, and a couple suspension parts coming in the mail tomorrow, so I'll be turning wrenches on friday night instead of going out. I told my girlfriend if she wanted to hang out tomorrow, she'd have to crawl under the car with me. I guess we'll see if she stops by or not, but it'll be worth it to hopefully post some good times on Saturday.

Haha, sounds like my Friday night also...working on the car with my boyfriend, another buddy, and some beer. Gotta get the goodies on before Saturday! So what are you driving? I didn't see a sig...

I can't believe I forgot to mention beer. Necessities for working on the car...gloves, wrenches, an extra set of hands, and beer! I just got my packages and half the stuff is missing so the only thing getting installed will be the shift light.

I always forget to check the "show your signature" box. I'm hoping to post some better times tomorrow, I seem to have some of my traction problems worked out, but I'll still be on street tires. Hopefully I'll be back there in a couple weeks with M/T streets. I'll keep my eye out for ya. I've got taillight covers so I'm kinda easy to spot. If you see me first, my name is Brent, don't be afraid to say hi. It's always great to meet more car junkies around here.

That sucks that they left some of your stuff out...takes some of the fun out of it. Where did you get the time in your sig? I'm guessing US 41 since it's so close to you. Looks like you have a pretty powerful car...be nice to see it run.

I'll keep an eye out for you Saturday...I'm pretty sure I'll be the only girl driving a silver GTO, so that makes me easy to spot also. So far so good on the forecast!

How'd you do? I only saw a couple of your runs...car sounds great. Between the heat and and my dying clutch, I could only do a bunch of 13.2s. Had fun though!

You looked really smooth out there on Saturday. I wasn't sure who you were, cause I never saw you with the car, so sorry I didn't introduce myself. I did have a couple good runs, but still couldn't get out of the hole with spinning. As soon as I launched and tried to give it gas, I'd lose it, but I'll fix that with some sticky tires! I did manage to run a 12.70 so I was pretty happy about that and i always have a great time watching too.

That was my first time at 41 so I wasn't sure when to let off. When racing in Dallas they had a set of lights that lit up green right when you crossed the finish if you won, yellow if you lost, but either way it let you know when you ran the whole quarter. I didn't see any lights popping on but did see a small sign a bit past the clocks so I was running all the way to those, but didn't see any lights or anything, so I wasn't sure if I was running short or going to far.

Thanks!! The silver '05 GTO that was there ran a 13.0, so I was a bit frustrated, but I also realized that my clutch is pretty much dead so doing any better than I did was going to be impossible.

I saw you run a 12.7...very nice. Looked like you had a couple of runs where you had difficultly launching, but don't we all. I looked around for you also, but never saw you near your car. I'm sure I'll meet you sometime there in future...I anticipate being there quite a few times this summer.

I posted in the other thread, but there is a line between the finish light boards which is where I let off. There might be a cone or two, but I'm not sure.
