I'm not a ******* detailer, man.

As far as Zymol containing abrasives:

It doesn't, so you don't know.

If you can do all that **** to a car in 4 hours, sorry to say but your attention to detail could not possibly rival mine.

As far as Zymol being overpriced: A 4 hour wax job doesn't need wax that costs $46 a tub. Stick with turtle wax, pal.
Do you have any pics of your work ? I would like to know "how detailed" you get with hand applying the zymol.
Do you tape off the mirrors, windows, trim, etc... ??
I also detail "on the side" and i can complete full interior and exterior detailing in about 4-6 hours.
wash, clay, polish, and wax with a buffer. clean carpets using an extractor...

and i charge about 100 bucks for exterior, which in all honesty, is tons more than you do.
i'm not here to knock you and your work. if you can get people to pay 100 bucks for a wash and a hand wax, more power to you. but the best "bang for your buck" applies to detailing as well.

...
how far is homewood ?? here are some pics of my work

No, I don't have pics, the last time I detailed a car I didn't have a digicam.
I get 'detailed' when I apply the Zymol.

Do you tape off the mirrors, windows, trim, etc... ??
That's not necessary if you are careful.

I also detail "on the side" and i can complete full interior and exterior detailing in about 4-6 hours.
I don't really care.

wash, clay, polish, and wax with a buffer. clean carpets using an extractor...
I don't really care.

I don't really care what you charge, honestly.

i'm not here to knock you and your work.
What are you here for? I'm not trying to detail your car, so when, how, and for how much I detail is not your concern.

Oh, and by the way, I noticed you didn't post before/after shots of the hood or spoiler of the Hawk.

Maybe that's because of the swirls that are almost surely there under the right light?

Step 3: Wash car
Step 4: Apply Zymol HD cleanse paint cleaner
Step 5: Clay bar entire car
Step 6: Couple coats of Zymol wax ($35 bucks a tub)

Something like this would cost you $80+ depending how crazy you want me to get.
The exterior will take me 6-8 hours alone, if that gives you any idea on the kind of work I do.

i think you have steps 4 and 5 reversed, the clay bar's purpose is to "cleanse" the paint. so when you are using the HD cleaner, you are really just rubbing all of the contaminents into the paint, thus creating more swirls.
and you do not buff so how do you remove the swirls you create.

so there is the difference between you ( amateur ) and myself ( near pro )

just trying to give you some pointers.

I don't give a **** what you say.

And I like the lines you leave in the upholstery and carpeting.
big ******* deal.

I'll do it my way, you do it yours. Maybe we can settle our disagreement at the drag strip for a little $$$. Then I can pay you to detail my car with your money, since I am so inept.

As far as you being a 'near pro' I think it's more like 'near troll.' Go back to LS1.com.

near troll ??

that's f&*^ing lame.

anyways, i heard your buddy 4thgenfbod or whatever his new name is has "matured" alittle bit and now he doesn't street race, or race for money.

i'm sorry you have not shown the same growth in maturity.

the lines in the carpet are nothing special, that's just how it is done.
i did it before i saw how detail shops leave it or on the detailing forums.

don't feel bad that you do not use an extractor and clean the carpets,
hell anyone can vacuum

Whatever dude.

anyways, i heard your buddy 4thgenfbod or whatever his new name is has "matured" alittle bit and now he doesn't street race, or race for money.
What the **** does he have to do with anything?

i'm sorry you have not shown the same growth in maturity.
I said I'd race you at the track for money; please explain to me how that is immature. I think you are a big mouth with a slow car and I'd like the opportunity to drag your *** AND take your money.

the lines in the carpet are nothing special, that's just how it is done.
i did it before i saw how detail shops leave it or on the detailing forums.
I agree. Nothing special. Why did you post pics of the lines in the carpets again?

don't feel bad that you do not use an extractor and clean the carpets,
hell anyone can vacuum
Why don't we extract your junk to the track and I can suck the ugly *** paint off of your car?
Or is that too immature? You sound like a chick.

Sorry Luna.

You guys should check out "I detail" in Countryside. Its in the same building as the Route 66 classic car dealer. Talk to Ed Screens, he owns the place, but does all the grunt work too. He's a cool guy and loves LS1's.
