Default Thinking of Selling the WS6

I just got my WS6 like 2 months ago and Im already thinking of selling the bastard. I love the performance and the look of the car but mod money isnt there and insurance if ******* brutal. Im gonna see about getting it refinanced but I dunno, Im not pleased with the cost effectiveness of my car and the issues its having after only 2500mi. Perhaps if anyone has any tips on insurance providers but Im paying 285 a month in insurance and 500$ a month in car payments. No big deal till gas prices went through the roof holy god I hate the universe... Thinking of going back to a 5.0.

WS6 Optioned Trans Am fully loaded with 10k miles will run you more than 21995 at a dealer. Ida bought from a private party but carfax on the car checked out. I didnt want a headache but I got a migrane anyway. I believe the original MSRP after taxes on my car new was somewhere in the range of 38000k so whatever. I think Im just gonna pay it for the next year and trade it in or sell it for like 18-17k I barely put any miles on it since my job is 10mins away from the house and Id rather have sex than go to teh clubs so I save on gas.

I went from payiing $200 a month for insurance with progressive to paying $90 a month with allstate on their premium gold platninum whatever membership.
thats full coverage too on my 01 z28

As long as you have a had 1yrs continuous insurace allstate has a some great deals..

Unless it is a 'vert, MSRP was much lower than that. I bought my '00 brand new, MSRP was just under $32K. I ended up paying $29K and change. Taxes would have been in the $2K range depending on where you live, but you can't count that towards the value of the car because you can't recover it; it's lost money no matter how you slice it.

IMO, most dealers are way overpriced on Trans Ams. Camaros are usually much more reasonable, and frankly, after owning both I can't see any reason why the T/A is worth more. I like the cars almost equally; sure there are specific pros and cons to both but it all basically averages out IMO.

Either way it's hard to find a good deal at a dealership. Private sales are usually far more reasonable.

hard proof, 2000 ws6 fully loaded(the whole three non-standard options(pretty sure the seats are standard on t/as right?)), just over 32k

and its all in the looks baby, id scrounge the extra gravy for a ws6 time and time again.
