Might try to hit up GSD. Work till 4, but i live like a half hour away. Don't know if i'll drive my car though. Don't even know if it'd be worth it, especially compared to all your guy's car's.

Tony, thanks for the offer, I'll let you know. I don't know which wheels I'll drive on going there. Probably the 17's. Your guy drop off my gears?

Here are the tech rules (looks like my nittos are going back on):
Everyone that races at Great Lakes Dragway or Wisconsin International Raceway must pass a tech inspection. GLD and WIR are IHRA sanctioned dragstrips, so IHRA rules do apply to every vehicle. The rules are for your safety and the saftey of everyone around you, please take them seriously. We also have a list of rules that are Real Street Drags rules. Read them, be familiar with them and abide by them! If you have a question regarding any rules, feel free to contact the RSD staff.
IHRA Race Track Rules
- Snell 90 or higher helmets are required for everyone. We offer helmet rentals at the track, however we cannot guarantee that there will be any left when you arrive. Helmet rentals are on a first come first serve basis.
- All vehicles must have a "coolant catch can" which is basically an over-flow bottle that catches antifreeze -coolant should your car boil over. Most cars come standard with a catch-can, however, older cars may not have one. Double check this before you drive to the track.
- All drivers MUST be wear long pants and no "sleeveless" type shirts or tank tops are allowed. Short sleeve shirts and t-shirts are ok.
- If you are running a drag slick, you must have a drive shaft safety loop.
- Fuel lines - You are allowed a maximum of 12 inches of rubber hose for connection purposes only. Do not show up with rubber hose running from the gas tank to the carburetor. You will not pass tech!
- Roll bars/cages - be familiar with the rules regarding roll bars and cages. There is an ET breakdown for requirements in the IHRA rule book.
- Reverse lock out and neutral safety switch are mandatory. If your vehicle starts in gear, you will not pass tech.
- If your battery is mounted in the trunk or hatch you must have an electrical disconnect switch. The switch must shut the electrical system down and also shut the car off when turned to the off position.
- Be familiar with the IHRA rules regarding protective clothing.
- Nitrous oxide bottle(s) located in driver compartment must be equipped with a relief valve and vented outside of compartment.
- Click here to view a list of NHRA rules. These are similar to IHRA rules and should be used as a guideline only. IHRA rules apply at Great Lakes Dragaway and at Wisconsin International Raceway.
Now once you "tech in" you are on your own. Please be safe.
Real Street Drags Rules
- Absolutely no fighting. Fights will not be tolerated. PERIOD! Not only will you be kicked out of the event but you will not be allowed back. EVER!
- All feature races must be discussed with the RSD staff. Don't surprise us and just show up in line. If you set a race up with someone, let us know and then you may proceed to the proper staging lane designated for feature races.
- Staging lanes are numbered. Each lane has a designation (i.e. time runs, street racing, pro tree, feature races, etc). Several times during the event we will announce lane designations. Please pay attention or ask the RSD staff if you are unsure.
- If you have any question about any rules or regulations, ASK!!!! There are no stupid questions when it comes to safety.
