The car or bike only goes as fast as it is driven/ridin.

It has a full Muzzy header & exhaust, cam kit, jet kit, new clutch, and a few other things I can't remember. The only thing wrong with it is it is missing the front ferring (sp). He is only asking $1800 for it. Let me know if you are interested.

ive been down before. totaly my fault. was driving down a road going to fast and hit some gravel at the bottom of the hill which lead to a turn. bike is a 1982 with original tires, brakes, forks, clutch, and everything. ran straight off the road going almost 35mph and slid the back tire out. took a pretty good beating when i landed, bent the handle bar to almost into a V, but the bike started up and i drove it home after i stopped shaking. got a new handle bar and duct taped the blinkers back on and rode it till the clutch finally took a ****. almost bought a R1, but decided id rather have my ls1.

My first bike, a gs500e. I laid down a few weeks after getting it. Just stupid frustrated riding trying to get around some car on the right hand side and a car backed out of a parking space and knocked me and the bike down. Going about 40, the bike slid and hit another car's rear tire and I miraciously ended up on my feet after sliding a ways. minimal fairing damage and bent handlebars and a broken brake lever.
My current bike (TL1000R modded to hell), dropped once when in a rush and forgot to put the stand down. (very stupid)
And I time forgot the strap my helmet. Also in a rush, went to pull over on the side of the road. Forgot to take it out of gear, or just missed shifted. Still with the choke on so the revs were up and when I tried to brake the bike fell over. Thank God for frame sliders.

Did a burnout on my bike then shortly hit the ground after the clutch malfuctioned. About 45-50mph shortly after... Slid about 20-30 feet maybe I dunno It happened pretty fast and I never got on one again. I like doors protecting me.

I cracked a wheelie on my bike and rode it out for about 10 feet. After 11 feet she bucked me off like I was on a raging bull. The bike landed on me. So I gathered myself together, realized my legs weren't broke, thanked got my head was still in tact, shrugged my shoulders and got back on. Damn pocket bikes. There not heavy enough.
...... yeah boys... she got away from me

I wanted a bike until I realized how "good" people were at driving. Half the time they don't see my camaro, I cannot even fathom being on a 400lb bike with people on cell phones etc.

Yeah i havent crashed (yet-im sure my time will come) Its my 2nd yr riding. Ive seen about 3 of my buddies go down and one guy i was seeing got really hurt! A guy pulled out in front of him and he had nowhere to go and hit the left side on the truck (w/ his left side of the bike) Its was a brand new 2006 CBR600RR orange w/ tribal flames. WAS a sweet bike! I also had a 1999 red and white R6 before my new one, that i dropped twice, at a stop, once was in gravel-foot slipped and it dropped. The other time i was rolling backwards out of my drive and i couldnt get my finger on the brake fast enough and hold the bike.. they were both just little scratches here and there
. But thankfully i havent dropped my new one!! But i took no chances and i put frame sliders on it!! lol

All i have to say is on a bike, ride like your invisible cause to everyone else in cages, you are. I have my 0z ZX6R Ninja for 2 months and have had dozens of dumbass people pull out and act like it was your fault. Be careful.

start out with something older like a cbr f1 or f2 my 1st was an 89 cbr600 f1 hurricane paid 600 bucks for the bike ate gravel once when I first had it then I learned how to ride second bike was an 04 r6 that one was my pride and joy and had full coverage on it couldn't afford to crash it
I would personally pass on a katana due to the fact that the older ones are not liquid cooled and don't seem to cool really well my buddy had a 93 katana that bike sucked something feirce you will probably want a 600cc bike they are not that bad as far as the ninja to sportster they are kinda like compareing apples to oranges they will be completly differnt feeling and powerbands hd is v twin and will be really torquey and the ninja is 4 cyl will be quick to get up and accel the feel of the 2 bikes will be very different also one you lean forward when you ride the other you are very up and down anybody feel free to correct me if I am wrong
