Exactly. It all depends on the judge and prosecuting attourney. The DA could be a dick as well and argue in favor of the cop if he isn't present. Don't think just because the cop isn't there you can plead not guilty and you will get off. They can continue it until he is able to go.

Man this really sucks. I was so bummed out when I got pulled over, especially being my first ticket and all. I am always a defensive driver, then one night a hill comes along and I am done.

I am sorry to say this, I know I was speeding on accident, but I have lost respect for cops. I have 2 friends that are cops up here, and they even told me that they sometimes pre-judge people driving our cars. It really sucks that it comes down to that sometimes

I will feel ad when my insurance goes up ..... I imagine you don't have insurance??

It isn't a moving violation, I would just pay it. Or, if you know someone at a shop, they can write you up a phony recipt for taking off the old stuff and putting the stock stuff back on
