You will have to check with the City or County. Depends on where you were. The city is normally the harshest. As far as getting out of it. ????? Doubt it.

find the noise requirements and then measure how loud your car is. If you come in there with data you can usually get away with it since the cops opinion of too loud is just that, and opinion, just prove it wasnt too loud and you should be ok.
