I dunno if its gonna happen know. THe Trans Am isn't running very happy. It's ok(ish) until it heats up. Then it downshifts and revs like the clutch is burned out...too bad its an auto huh? lol. It's making a few nasty ugly sounds as well...has a popping kinda like someone opening a can of tennis ***** thats RPM dependant, and when I let off the gas it has this nasty noise the kinda sounds like someone dumping a bag of marbles in my oil pan. Oh, and it can't hold an idle very well any more, it dies when I stop in gear. Haha, lose my power brakes and my power steering!...oh wait a minute...lol

WELL I got an update...lol, does anyone own a flat bed trailer? Wrestled the beastly hood off (all by myself I'll boast) and the little man in the engine wants out...oh the sad demise of what MAY have been a nice mower engine, or maybe a good sandrail engine haha. But seriously, anyone wanna come on the trip friday after next that's got a trailer...we may need it

It just doesn't really add up right...I still can keep steady time, and it can hold an idle most of the time. BUT like I said, it's got a real nasty thump in the driver side bank, I think the second cylinder from the front. It's drivable, but it just randomly chokes out at stops and DOES NOT START lol, as I've had to push it down the end of my drive 2 or 3 times now...and it's always as I'm JUST getting ready to pull in Does that sound right to any of you guys? It sounds like a rods gone, but when I give it gas, it runs fine...and here I had a two races and three ladies waitin for rides...such a disappointment

I duno Joe, that thing sounds nasty... and it sure as hell felt like there was somethin wrong when you reved it and I could feel something rattling in the drivers side valve cover...

Welp everyone, it happened. About 1/3 of the way to Bussards the ole bird bit the dust. Dead in the midle of the intersection it sputtered out and I nearly got t-boned by some assclown in a red intrepid. Had to call the flatbed. It's sittin at bussards now, getting the brakes done, then goin to the "Fortress". Did an oil change got about 1/2 qtof old oil from about 7 minutes of draining. The drain plug was loose enough I took it out with my fingers, but of course the filter...ugh... anyways that's the end of that story lol. If anyones intrested I got some room in the Castle in ft. Wayne if anyones lookin for overwinter storage or anything since Rick backed out of the deal. Only 125/month for rent. Hey Anthony, tell phil theres a black and white 3rd gen that needs some trans work for 800 on 300S out on the way to country club.

Sorry Joe... but why spend 125/mo for a garage in Ft Wayne when my dad said I could use our garage attached to my house for free??? makes no sense to me.

Are you talking about the Ft Wayne garage? Its not attached to your house. Plus, a carport isnt exactly enclosed. Like you said, only about 5 square feet of that carport stays dry in the rain.

Naw, just sayin that what you just said is almost exactly what I said on the way to Ft. Wayne that night, but it still seemed so reasonable to you then.
